RICHARD J. ROBY, P.E., Ph.D.
CEO
RICHARD J. ROBY, P.E., Ph.D., is the Managing Member of LPP Combustion, LLC and a Co-Inventor of the LPP technology. Rick co-founded Combustion Science & Engineering, Inc, (CSE), an affiliated company that specializes in R & D and engineering design and analysis for combustion systems. Rick has more than 30 years of experience in combustion related to energy emissions and power production.
LEO D. ESKIN, Ph.D.
President & COO
LEO D. ESKIN, Ph.D., President/COO, was co-founder of a company, now owned by GE, that developed the GateCycle software program for optimizing power-generating plants, including both gas turbines and coal-fired facilities.
Leo has extensive contacts in power plants throughout the U. S. and hands-on turbine testing and operations experience. Before joining CSE and LPP, Leo was the CEO of a company that installs high-tech communications wiring in large office buildings and other commercial complexes.
CHRIS BROEMMELSIEK
VP Sales & Marketing
CHRIS BROEMMELSIEK, Vice President Sales & Marketing, has over 35 years experience in the power generation industry. Chris spent 20 years with GE Energy and ABB Power Generation working in the sales, marketing, and product management of steam and gas turbines as well as turnkey combined cycle plants. He also spent four years as Vice President of Development & Marketing for Competitive Power Ventures. Chris holds a Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University.
RICHARD JOKLIK, Ph.D.
VP Engineering
RICHARD JOKLIK, Ph.D., Vice President of Engineering, is one of the Co-founders of LPP Combustion. In addition to working with LPP, Richard also serves as a Principal Research Engineer for Combustion, Science & Engineering and has prior experience in combustion and emissions R&D with NIST, Energy & Enviromental Research. Richard holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
MICHAEL S. KLASSEN, P.E., Ph.D.
CTO
MICHAEL S. KLASSEN, P.E., Ph.D., is Vice President and Director of Engineering, Chief Technology Officer and a Co-Inventor of the LPP Combustion technology. Mike is also a Vice-President and Principal Research Engineer of Combustion Science & Engineering, Inc.
Mike has extensive experience performing combustion-related R & D for the power industry, and he has recently been a consultant to a task force of utility executives formed by the Edison Electric Institute to study the issues related to liquid natural gas (LNG) quality.
